Peshawar (Khyber Mail): The National Centre of Excellence in Geology at the University of Peshawar announced the successful defense of Mr. Abdul Rahim Asif’s PhD thesis, titled “Geotechnical and Mineralogical Assessment of Granitic Rocks from Northwestern Regions of Pakistan.” The defense was supervised by Dr. Muhammad Sajid, Assistant Professor in the Department of Geology, with co-supervision by Dr. Waqas Ahmed, Associate Professor at the Centre.
Mr. Asif’s research represents a major contribution to the field of applied geology, focusing on the geotechnical and mineralogical evaluation of granitic rocks.
