Sana’a (Agencies): The Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, commonly known as the Houthis, announced on Wednesday that they have carried out a sixth attack on the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman since its deployment to the Red Sea. The group stated that the attack involved a combination of missiles and drones.

“The missile force and the UAVs air force of the Yemeni Armed Forces, with the help of Allah Almighty, carried out a joint military operation targeting the American aircraft carrier ‘USS Harry S. Truman’ and a number of its warships in the northern Red Sea,” the Houthis declared in a statement on their Telegram channel. They accused the U.S. of attempting operations against Yemen and reiterated their commitment to defending their country.

The Houthis further warned of readiness to counter any escalations by the U.S. or Israel, affirming their continued support for the Palestinian cause until the blockade on Gaza is lifted.

The U.S. Navy has not yet commented on the Houthis’ claims. However, such incidents underline the growing volatility in the region amid heightened tensions related to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
