Peshawar (Khyber Mail): In a significant development, the historic Islamia College University has successfully reclaimed 55 kanals of valuable government land in Charsadda. The land had been illegally occupied and used as a vegetable market by encroachers.

Dr. Zia-ul-Haq, who is also the Vice Chancellor of Khyber Medical University and took additional charge of Islamia College University, announced the successful operation. He highlighted that the reclaimed land would help address the university’s financial crisis and expand its educational programs. Dr. Zia-ul-Haq expressed gratitude to the provincial government, the Higher Education Department, and the district administration for their cooperation in reclaiming the land from the encroachers.
Dr. Zia-ul-Haq emphasized that this achievement marks a milestone in the university’s efforts to ensure financial stability and enhance its academic offerings. The reclaimed land will be utilized to generate revenue and support the university’s mission of providing quality education.
