MULHOUSE, France (Agencies): An Algerian man went on a stabbing spree at a market in the French city of Mulhouse on Saturday afternoon, resulting in the death of at least one person and injuries to two others. The incident occurred at a busy market, causing panic among shoppers and vendors.

The suspected attacker, a 37-year-old Algerian, was allegedly under an obligation to leave French territory and had a judicial ten-year ban from the country. According to TF1, the man was supposed to sign his judicial control at the police station to verify his house arrest, which he refused to do.
