The mob was furious, wild and aggressive. They were raising slogans and wanted to ransack Pakistan embassy. It was 20 July, 24 in Germany where the police was helpless and could only watch the miscreants. The attackers removed the Pakistani flag and desecrated it like the Bharti army did it on 16 Dec, 1971 in East Pakistan.
Just after three days, two young boys were mercilessly beaten, thrown on floor and the policeman hit the face of one boy with his military boots. Pakistani mother could only try to protect her two sons which were brutally assaulted by British police at Manchester airport.
What happened? and why Pakistan and its’ citizens are being humiliated? Surely, our own people have encouraged UNO, EU, foreign governments/NGOs and anti-Pakistan elements to disrespect Pakistan and its’ citizens. We even did not leave the holy places of Mecca and Masjid-e-Nabvi in shouting against our countrymen. Our highest people within/outside Pakistan had been openly trumpeting, “We are a corrupt nation”…., ”Our state institutions have failed”…, “We are doomed to meet disaster”…., “We need to be sorted out”…., “We have no ideology” and “We are an irresponsible nation”.
Results are obvious, UNO is dis-satisfied over human rights violations in Pakistan. EU is concerned over rights of expression and safety of journalists. Spokes-person of US state department is constantly replying to planted questions against state institutions and elections in Pakistan. US state Congress asks for probe into elections of Feb, 2024. This is the same Congress which welcomed an standing ovation to Nathan-yahoo against Palestinian genocide? Situation has gone to an extent that foreign ambassador in Pakistan behaves like a Viceroy and issue statements on internal political and judicial system of Pakistan, violating their ambient and duties? Surprisingly human atrocities by Israeli and state-sponsored terrorism by Bharat is not significant to international community. But defaming Pakistan and its’ institutions has been promoted by our people within/outside Pakistan.
Negativity and conspiracy theory matches psyche of people of sub-continent, being propagated from other states by targeting innocent minds in Pakistan. It has severely effected Pakistanis in international community. More a person speaks louder against Pakistan, more he gets local and international media projection, honours/awards and foreign nationality. International media bashes Pakistan round the clock without getting view-point of Pakistan Govt. They frame sugar coated NEWS negating the truth and fact. Unfortunately, No Govt office replies effectively with sound figures and statistics. Govt of Pakistan doesn’t appear to be available to give their point of view and protest to the international media house/channels for not taking their opinion before publishing/airing the news item. Why the foreign sources don’t pay heed to Pakistan? because our responsible and law abiding expatriates provide them fake news and data with authenticity.
A group of people feels pride when any negative news item against Pakistan is projected globally. In winning debate, they forget long-term effects of the dirty debate they consider a win. Being an international status symbol, they negate ideology and roots of the country. These ploys are not concerned if foreign investment dries down, tourism industry is severely effected and country is black-listed for trade and business. International community is unwilling to pay heed to the Pakistani arguments, as they are being shot down by our own people internationally from our ranks as well as sitting abroad.
They forget in a situation like Gaza, they may get political asylum but like Julian Assange (restricted to one room without family and no human rights). Gaza has proven West may invade any state any time anywhere according to their choice and will call any resistance as terrorism. Keeping in mind, Kashmir is no more an issue internationally, rather Pakistan is engaged in terrorism like Palestinians did on 7 Oct, 2023. In today’s international relations Israeli type genocide is promoted and no one would come to rescue of innocent civilians living in Pakistan (Allah forbid). Misinformation and campaigns against Pakistan will not spare only the ruling but also the ones who are actively campaigning against Pakistan. Saddam Hussain, Shah Iran Anwaar-us-Sadaat, Marcos, Musaddaq Hussain, Qaddafi, Morcy and Ismail Hania have been shown to Islamic world as wrath of West.
Self-created opinion leaders are endeavouring to convince, our perceptions should be modified for fighting internally only, alleging each other and present ourselves as the best candidate for ruling the state. Our top most issues in parliament, judiciary and legislature are dirty politics, and personalized interests. Inflation, law and order, economic instability, security and deteriorating international reputation are nowhere projected at any tier in society.
Demand of Pakistani parliament asking for unity of Muslim world on Gaza seems comic, as they have not united on any issue since last five years?Legislature is focussed on presidential ordinances and unique bills.
Judiciary is engaged in controversial political and personal cases like “Manustrial case”, despite a “Sharia Court” already working in country. They had impracticable verdicts like holding elections in April, 2023.
Executives are debating 60 reserved seats for women, which are being distributed as favours to family members and favourite women. The debate should be abolshing/reducing these seats due to economic crunch. Likewise, NA seats may be also be reduced to about 200 instead of 266 only, with reasonable additional seats for minorities. During general elections, balloting may be introduced for political parties contesting instead of individuals (electable). A party getting less then 10% of total vote cast may not be given any seat. Party with less than 5% votes cast may be disqualified for future election in records of Election Commission (EC). Contested seats be distributed amongst contesting parties according to votes caste in favour with additional 10 seats for minorities. EC should be placed directly under SC to avoid bashing by lower and high courts. Selection of leader of the house and opposition may continue as it is. No attempt by any CM for pre-mature dissolution of provincial assemblies be allowed.
A common Pakistani questions: If Drs, Police, Muncipal Corporation and a sweeper are stand-bye 24 hours basis and called for emergency duties, why justice providers cannot be made available for hearing urgent national subjects?
Peaceful protests may be made, but against govt expenditures and lavish life-style instead of inflated electricity bills, local jobs in Gwadar (Sponsored by anti-Pakistan elements), free our leader and anti-state activities. The innocent followers if carefully watch, those asking them to come to street for justice and against corruption are the most corrupt and shrewd using them as pawns. Our top most issues include getting rid of foreign debts, improve economy, raising national pride and reducing trust-deficit between rulers and the ruled. It may be achieved by dissolution reduction of expenditures by closing certain minsiteries and Govt offices. Revision is also required for cadres and service progression of different services, administrative offices, authorities (established under Govt ordinance), Corporations, Commissions, organizations and para-military forces, by reducing the manpower.
Quaid-e-Azam gave us three principles of Faith, Unity and Discipline. Unfortunately, agenda setters have forced these principals out of our daily life. Anti-state negative messages are aimed at instability, unrest and division in society. People defaming ideology of Pakistan by quoting Bangladesh as a far developed and modernized country must have gotten their inflated balloon burst after Sheikh Hasina Wajid fled the country?
Faith in Allah and one-self is ingrained by our parents and teachers since early days. We only need to stay firm and use judgement before jumping to false conclusions.
Unity at all levels and tiers in society is again a responsibility tarting from an individual to home, street, sectors, district and the country.
Discipline is taught since Kinder garten. The uniform, timings, class routine, lunch break, cease work time and obedience to school laws are inculcated since initial studies in young minds. Instead of an easy bait, youngsters have to evaluate difference between free opinion and arrogance. They shouldn’t be playing vandalism, violence and aggression.
In order to be an effective nation having an effective stance on international affairs, “Faith, Unity and Discipline” are to be inculcated and incorporated in all spheres of life as envisaged by Jinnah.
