Beijing (Agencies): The sixth edition of the China-Thailand joint naval training, code-named “Blue Strike-2025,” officially commenced on Wednesday at a military port in Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province. This marks a significant expansion of the training scope, moving from marine corps-level exercises to naval fleet-level operations.
Naval vessels from both nations completed their force assembly on Tuesday, setting the stage for the collaborative exercise. The training aims to deepen practical cooperation, enhance joint operational capabilities, and strengthen regional maritime security.
The exercise, which will run until April 2, reflects the growing consensus and partnership between the Chinese and Thai navies, showcasing their commitment to fostering stability and security in the region.
