Houston, USA (Agencies): A tragic accident occurred on Sunday night when a helicopter collided with a radio tower in Houston, causing a massive explosion.
The Robinson R44 helicopter, which was on an air tour flight, crashed into the tower around 7:54 p.m. local time.
All four people on board, including a child, lost their lives in the incident.
Houston Police Chief J. Noe Diaz described the event as a “tragic loss of life” and confirmed that the crash is under investigation.
The fire department reported a “fireball out of the air” upon impact, and the area was engulfed in flames.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is leading the investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist in the investigation.
