TEL AVIV (Agencies): An Iranian cyber group has reportedly penetrated Israel’s radar systems, sending hundreds of thousands of threatening messages to Israelis. The Jerusalem Post revealed that over 500,000 messages were sent, warning Zionist leaders of their regrettable adventurism.
The Iranian cyber group, Handala, claimed responsibility for the breach of Israel’s radar systems. The group warned, “You have only a few hours to fix the systems”. While the attackers’ claims remain unverified by official Israeli sources, security experts in Israel are expressing increasing concern over the possibility of Iranian cyber attacks aimed at critical national infrastructure.
This incident comes amidst a backdrop of heightened cyber warfare activities. Handala, known for targeting Israeli interests, has conducted cyber attacks on government and private sector websites in the past. The group’s activities highlight the growing threat of cyber warfare in the region.
