Tehran, Iran (Agencies): Iran successfully repelled an Israeli air attack using a combination of Iranian home made Air defenses, Russian S-400 missile defense systems, and advanced Chinese weaponry.
The attack, which took place near the borders of Iran, involved around 100 Israeli fighter jets including F-16s, F-15s and F-35s launching long-range ballistic missiles from 100 kilometers away, targeting radar systems in Ilam, Khuzestan, and surrounding Tehran provinces.
IDF fighter jets took off from Hatzerim, Ramat David & Ramon Air Bases in Israel. Their pre-approved route over the airspaces controlled by the US in Jordan and Iraq, where they launching cruise missiles towards their targets staying over 100 km away from Iran’s airspace.
Despite the missiles being fitted with very light warheads, the Iranian air defense systems managed to track and intercept a significant number of them, preventing the enemy fighter jets from entering Iranian airspace.
The attack caused limited damage, with few radar systems affected and one S-300 system destroyed resulting in dearth of 4 personals.
Iranian state media reported that the country’s air defense force played a crucial role in defending against the attack, showcasing the effectiveness of the Russian S-400 systems and other advanced weaponry.
The Iranian military confirmed that four soldiers were killed in the strikes, and the country has vowed a proportional response to the Israeli aggression.
It was a three stage attack using complex combination of fightrt jets, drone swarms and air launched cruise missiles.
The international community has reacted to the incident, with the United States stating that it was informed of the strikes on military targets but not involved, while Pakistan and other Middle Eastern countries condemned the attack.
The situation remains tense as both Iran and Israel continue to exchange threats and accusations.
