TEL AVIV (Agencies): In a recent report aired on Channel 14, Israeli media has accused the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) of providing military training to Palestinian cadets. The investigation claims that the Palestinian Authority has been sending young men to the PMA in Kakul, Abbottabad, for training in various military disciplines, including maneuvering armored vehicles, artillery, sniping, shooting, and paratrooping.
These allegations have raised concerns about potential security threats to Israel, suggesting that this training could be laying the groundwork for a standing Palestinian army if a state is recognized.
Pakistani officials have dismissed these claims as false propaganda, emphasizing the PMA’s long-standing tradition of training cadets from friendly countries to enhance their security forces’ capabilities.
