To the Editor,

I am writing to share a heartfelt story about the E-Hujra group, which began as a simple WhatsApp chat for the residents of Bannu Gul and has since evolved into a powerful advocate for our community’s well-being. This group has successfully bridged the gap between ordinary residents and key organizations, ensuring that our voices are heard and our needs are met.

Recently, our community faced a tragic loss when Nasrullah, a local car mechanic, passed away in a sad incident on July 15, 2024. Nasrullah was a hardworking individual whose honest income supported his children. His untimely death has left a void in the lives of his family and the community.

In response to this tragedy, the Chairman of E-Hujra, Mr. Muhammad Asif Qureshi, took immediate action by reaching out to high-ranking officials. We were deeply moved by the personal condolences offered by Deputy Commissioner Bannu, respected Shah Saud, Assistant Commissioner Bannu, respected Syed Ibrar Ali Shah, and SP City Ehsan Uddin. Their compassion and support during this difficult time have been a source of great comfort to Nasrullah’s family and the entire community.

The people of Bannu Gul are profoundly touched by this display of empathy and solidarity. We are grateful to Chairman Qureshi, his dedicated team, and all the members of E-Hujra for their unwavering commitment to helping our community. Their efforts have made a significant difference, and we are thankful for the support we have received.

Sincerely,

Asif Qureshi
Chairman of E-Hujra
