Dear Editor,
I would like to shed light on a pressing issue that continues to impact millions across Pakistathen- urgent need for job creation initiatives. With a rapidly growing youth population and limited employment opportunities, the gap between skilled individuals and available jobs is widening at an alarming rate.
Many graduates are left disheartened as they step into the job market, only to find it saturated or biased. The lack of strategic planning, innovation, and investment in sectors like technology, education, healthcare, and entrepreneurship further adds to the crisis. While some efforts have been made, they are either short-lived or inaccessible to the majority.
The government, private sector, and educational institutions must work together to create sustainable employment opportunities. Vocational training programs, startup support, public-private partnerships, and transparent recruitment practices are essential to drive economic stability and empower the youth.
We urge the authorities to prioritize job creation not just as an economic goal, but as a national responsibility. The future of Pakistan depends on how well we equip and engage our human capital.
Regards,
Hafsa Naeem
