Islamabad (Adnan Hameed) : The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) proudly inaugurated a captivating Photo Exhibition commemorating the 31st Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Pakistan and Uzbekistan. Held at the PNCA premises, the event reflects the enduring cultural ties and shared heritage between the two nations.
Inaugurated by Mr. Oybek Usmanov, the esteemed Ambassador of Uzbekistan, and attended by Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Syed Jamal Shah, along with M. Ayoub Jamali, DG PNCA, the exhibition stands as a testament to the strong cultural bond between the nations.
Uzbek Ambassador Oybek Usmanov delivered an eloquent speech, emphasizing the historical significance of the diplomatic ties, showcasing a copy of the protocol signed in Ashkhabad, Turkmenistan, on May 10, 1992. The Ambassador expressed gratitude to Minister Jamal Shah for his support in organizing the event and commended DG PNCA and his team for their contributions.
Federal Minister Syed Jamal Shah highlighted the exhibition’s role in portraying the beauty, diversity, and historical resonance embedded in the joint cultural heritage of Uzbekistan and Pakistan. Describing it as a visual narrative, he emphasized its role as a bridge connecting shared traditions and fostering friendship.
The collaborative effort presents a retrospective collection of historical photographs showcasing dynamic interactions between leaders of Uzbekistan and Pakistan over the past three decades.
