Lahore (Agencies): A Chinese company will set up a solar panel manufacturing and assembly plant in Punjab. An agreement to this effect was signed between Punjab Industry Minister Chaudhry Shafay Hussain and the Chinese company’s South Pacific Region President Alex Heng in Lahore.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister announced that this will be the first solar panel manufacturing plant and solar panel testing lab in the province.
This initiative is expected to boost the local economy and contribute to sustainable energy development in the region.
