PESHAWAR (Khyber Mail): In a prestigious ceremony held at the Governor House on Pakistan Day, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi conferred presidential civil awards upon seven distinguished individuals from the province on behalf of the President of Pakistan.
Four individuals were honored with the Tamgha-e-Shujaat for their acts of bravery, while three were awarded the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for their remarkable contributions in various fields.
Among the recipients:
- Saeed Khan (late) was posthumously awarded the Tamgha-e-Shujaat for his valor.
- Sahib Khan received the Tamgha-e-Shujaat in recognition of his bravery.
- Malik Mehmood Jan (Shaheed) and Samiullah Khan (Shaheed) were posthumously honored with the Tamgha-e-Shujaat for their courage and sacrifices.
- Dr. Aakif Ullah Khan was recognized with the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for his invaluable services in the field of medicine.
- Arshad Aziz Malik received the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for his outstanding contributions to journalism.
- Bakhtiar Ahmad Khattak was awarded the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for his remarkable achievements in the field of singing.


The ceremony was attended by Air Vice Marshal Taimoor Iqbal, Secretary Shahid Sohail, and family members of the award recipients, alongside a large number of dignitaries. The event highlighted the extraordinary contributions of these individuals and paid tribute to their dedication and achievements.
