Rabat (Khyber Mail): Federal Minister for Communications, Privatization, and Board of Investment Abdul Aleem Khan reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering moral and diplomatic support for Palestine during a meeting with Palestinian Transport Minister Tariq Hussaini Zarrab in Morocco. He conveyed the sentiments of the Pakistani people, stating that their hearts beat with their Palestinian brothers and sisters.

Aleem Khan strongly condemned the ongoing atrocities in Palestine, emphasizing that Pakistan will continue to stand by the Palestinian cause. He expressed hope that the struggle of the Palestinian people would bear fruit and lead to the establishment of an independent state. In response, Minister Tariq Hussaini Zarrab thanked Pakistan for its continued support and expressed confidence that Palestine would soon achieve freedom.

During the Fourth Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety in Morocco, Aleem Khan also met with Bangladeshi Minister of Industry and Production Aadil-ur-Rahman Khan, Oman’s Deputy Minister Brigadier General Ali Al-Falahi, and Maldives’ Minister of Transport M. Ameen. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in transport and communication.

Highlighting Pakistan’s infrastructure potential, Aleem Khan stated that the country aims to improve 40% of its communication network through mutual investment and cooperation in both government-to-government (G2G) and business-to-business (B2B) formats. He noted that despite increased traffic, Pakistan’s motorways and highways have seen improvements in safety and revenue generation.

The conference, attended by ministers from various countries, was deemed particularly beneficial for developing nations. The delegates expressed mutual goodwill and optimism for continued collaboration in the transport sector.
