Peshawar, (Khyber Mail): At an opening ceremony, US Consul General Shante Moore welcomed 325 male and female students from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) who have joined the U.S. Embassy-sponsored English Works! Program.
This six-month initiative, funded by the U.S. Department of State, aims to improve English proficiency, develop computer literacy skills, and build job market knowledge for motivated students with limited financial resources.
The English Works! Program comprises 240 hours of instruction over six months. Since its inception in 2005, more than 27,000 Pakistani students have participated in these programs, exemplifying the broad cooperation between Pakistan and the United States.
