Karachi (Khyber Mail): The Department of Mass Communication at the University of Karachi recently organized an engaging guest session titled “The Future of PR,” featuring Raheel Nabi, the Chief Executive of Xenith PR, one of Pakistan’s leading public relations firms. The event was orchestrated by the Advertising and Public Relations Class of 2024 under the guidance of faculty member Ms. Samina Qureshi.

Raheel Nabi, renowned for his strategic communication expertise, provided a comprehensive overview of the evolving public relations landscape. He emphasized the critical role of adaptability in the digital age, discussing key industry trends such as the rise of digital platforms, influencer marketing, data-driven strategies, and the increasing importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and crisis management.

“The future of PR is all about integrating new technology with traditional storytelling,” Raheel stated. “PR professionals must be intuitive and creative to navigate the dynamic, fast-paced environment we are moving into.”

The session included an interactive Q&A segment, allowing mass communication students to seek advice, discuss career opportunities, and explore the skills necessary for success in the PR industry.
