LONDON (Agencies): The Pakistan Army Cambrian Team has achieved a remarkable victory by winning the gold medal in the prestigious Exercise Cambrian Patrol 24, held from October 4-13, 2024, in the Brecon Beacons Mountains.
The team, representing the 67 Punjab Regiment, secured the highest-ever score of 864 points in the competition, surpassing 118 teams from 36 countries across Europe.
The 67 Punjab Regiment, also known as Fakhr e Sehra, participated in the event for the second consecutive year after emerging victorious in Pakistan Army’s internal competition.
The team was trained, mentored, and guided by a dedicated group of officers, including Maj Saqib Ali Malik, Maj Usman Iqbal, Capt Raja Hassan Raza, and Capt Hamza Tahir Shah.
This achievement is a testament to the rigorous training and exceptional skills of the Pakistan Army Cambrian Team. The Exercise Cambrian Patrol, which has been running for over 60 years, is the British Army’s principal All Arms Patrol Exercise and is open to all three Services (Regular and Reserve) and international participants.
