BEIJING (Agencies): A delegation of 15 representatives from Pakistani media and think tanks, during a five-day visit to Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in Northwest China, expressed their admiration for the development of Muslims in the region and the religious freedom they enjoy.
The delegation visited religious facilities, including the Id Kah Mosque in Kashi and the Xinjiang Islamic Institute in Urumqi, where they observed and engaged with religious leaders.
The representatives highlighted the positive atmosphere, religious freedom, and development in Xinjiang, calling for more people to visit the region to dispel misunderstandings.
The visit covered various aspects of Xinjiang’s development, including cultural, economic, and industrial sites.
