RIYADH (Agencies): The Pakistani Executive Organization for Promotion of Leadership and Entrepreneurship (PEOPLE) hosted an inspiring sahoor and award ceremony in Riyadh, honoring Saudi and Pakistani entrepreneurs and executives for their significant contributions to Saudi Vision 2030.
The event celebrated the growing collaboration between Saudi Arabia and the Pakistani diaspora in areas such as trade and investment. Dignitaries including Princess Nourah Al-Faisal Al-Saud, Assistant Minister of Investment Ibrahim Al-Mubarak, and Esra Assery of the Ministry of Media attended the ceremony, alongside prominent Pakistani professionals.
Awards were presented to individuals who played vital roles in Saudi Arabia’s economic development. PEOPLE chairman Mehmood Khan and president Kashif Khan highlighted the rapid economic growth in Saudi Arabia and the opportunities it offers for Pakistani professionals. They reiterated PEOPLE’s mission to unite Saudi entrepreneurs with the Pakistani diaspora, fostering entrepreneurship and mentorship for youth.
Princess Nourah applauded the strong bilateral ties, emphasizing the benefits of mutual collaboration and shared experiences. Majid Mufti, CEO of NEOM Investment Fund, and Arab News Editor-in-Chief Faisal J. Abbas recognized the significance of initiatives like PEOPLE in building partnerships.
The event also featured Junaid Khan, CEO of Key Facilities Management Saudia, who stressed giving back to Saudi Arabia for the opportunities it provides. Atif Khurshid Khan, senior adviser at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, spoke about the transformative changes under Vision 2030 and the potential for Pakistani entrepreneurs to contribute.
The ceremony concluded with both sides affirming their commitment to strengthening ties and exploring future collaborations, showcasing the enduring bond between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
