RIYADH (Agencies): The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced stringent measures to ensure the safety and well-being of pilgrims during this year’s Hajj season. Aspiring pilgrims are required to secure official permits via the Nusuk platform, which is integrated with the unified Tasreeh system. The ministry emphasized that no visa, irrespective of type, grants the right to perform Hajj.
Authorities have also issued a stern warning against fraudulent advertisements and deceptive Hajj campaign promotions circulating on social media. The public is urged to report any suspicious activities by contacting 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 in other regions.
To facilitate the Hajj season, the ministry has set April 29 as the final departure date for Umrah visa holders. Furthermore, starting April 23, all residents must present valid entry permits to gain access to Makkah. Security checkpoints will turn back individuals and vehicles without proper documentation.
Permits for residents working during Hajj will be processed electronically via the Absher Individuals platform and the Muqeem portal, as part of the unified digital Hajj permit platform.
These regulations underline the ministry’s commitment to creating a safe, organized, and spiritually fulfilling Hajj experience for all.
